Instructions for Finding the Book on Your Computer

After activating the download link, a zip file entitled “Windows-Screen-Reader-Primer-Third -Edition.zip” will appear in your default downloads folder. It contains subfolders with the book broken up into individual chapter files in both Microsoft Word and ePub formats, as well as an additional subfolder with practice files. A single Word file also appears containing the entire text.

The ZIP file needs to be extracted into a separate folder. To do this, place focus on the ZIP folder, press the Applications key (or Shift F10), Down arrow to the Extract submenu and press Enter twice. This will create a new folder with the same name, minus the ZIP extension, in your Downloads folder. You should then move it elsewhere on your computer.
