Carroll Families Dining With Your Senses

Families are invited to a fun, interactive, hands-on blindfolded breakfast experience designed for youth ages 8–22 who are blind or visually impaired and their families. Enjoy a blindfolded breakfast guided by Carroll Center instructors while learning practical skills that support independence and confidence. Beyond the table, you’ll discover how the Carroll Center empowers youth through innovative programs, expert instruction, and real-world skill building.

Event Schedule

  • 9:00 – 9:30 A.M.: Arrival and welcome from the Carroll Center team
  • 9:30 – 10:30 A.M.: Blindfolded breakfast with your family, featuring IHOP breakfast items and guidance from Carroll Center instructors
  • 10:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M.:
    • Tour Carroll Center classrooms and dorms and learn more about our services
    • Explore a variety of accessibility devices with one of our expert instructors
