Carroll Alumni Movie Night
Get ready for a magical evening at The Carroll Alumni’s Wicked-ly Fun Movie Night! Join us as we watch the audio-described version of the newly released Wicked movie—a captivating reimagining of the untold story of the witches of Oz.
Wicked follows the journey of Elphaba, the misunderstood, green-skinned young woman who becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, and her unlikely friendship with Glinda, the bubbly and ambitious Good Witch. Set in the magical Land of Oz, this enchanting tale explores themes of identity, power, and the complexities of good and evil, all brought to life with stunning visuals and unforgettable music. What to expect
Audio Description: To make the experience accessible to everyone, the movie will include audio-description, a narration feature that describes important visual elements, like actions, settings, and costumes, for individuals with visual impairments. Refreshments and dress code: We’ll have pizza (generously donated by C & N Pizza), popcorn, and plenty of fun, and we encourage you to come in your pajamas or your most comfortable clothing—because what’s better than watching a movie while feeling cozy?
