Dealing with Changes in Vision: Watertown Senior Center (Presentation)
Many people are confused and frustrated by changes in their vision. Understanding how these changes affect how you see, and function can help to reduce this anxiety. To help you learn about what can be done, Bob McGillivray, Certified Low Vision Therapist will review the different causes and characteristics of visual changes. You will also learn how low vision devices and techniques can improve the quality of one’s performance at work, school or home.
Most individuals with vision problems have some ability to see, and with the proper assessment, devices and instruction, they can often accomplish tasks they thought would be impossible. Light Refreshments. Registration is required. Please call the Watertown Senior Center at (617)972-6490.
