8th Annual Walk for INDEPENDENCE (Postponed)
NOTE: After careful consideration and in light of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, we are postponing our 8th Annual Walk for INDEPENDENCE scheduled for April 26th. As we continue to monitor the coronavirus situation, we will be determining a new date for the event and look forward to sharing that with you soon.
The Walk for INDEPENDENCE is a fun day for everyone! Bring your family and friends–even the furry ones–for your choice of a 1 or 3 mile walk around the surrounding neighborhoods of our Newton campus. The walk will start and finish at The Carroll Center for the Blind’s campus followed by fun activities, complimentary cookout and a kid’s fun run! All of the activities offer unique opportunities for both sighted and visually impaired people to participate.
Join members of the community, local businesses and even family dogs and support our mission. Funds raised make it possible for The Carroll Center for the Blind to transform lives.
Create a team and make an even bigger impact! This amazing event is fun for the whole family and celebrates how active blind and visually impaired people can be.
Help us continue to serve clients of ALL ages and at ALL stages of vision loss achieve their own independence and learn the skills they need to succeed.
