Low Vision Support Group – South Shore Collaborative
Low Vision Support Group:
If you or a loved one have recently been diagnosed with an eye condition, joining a support group may be the most important thing you will ever do. The Marshfield Council on Aging, Duxbury Senior Center, Kingston Council on Aging, the Plymouth Center for Active Living, and the Talking Information Center have teamed up to host a collaborative low vision group on the South Shore.
The goal of this initiative is to provide a space for individuals with a visual impairment to gather and share information. These meetings are broadcast live so that those who are unable to attend a low vision support group still have access to the pertinent and important information being discussed.
Join us for the South Shore Collaborative’s next Low Vision Support Group meeting on Monday, November 18th. The featured guest speaker will be Robert McGillivray, Certified Low Vision Therapist at The Carroll Center for the Blind. You can learn more about other low vision services provided by the Carroll Center for the Blind here.
Seating is limited. Please RSVP by calling (781) 834-4400.
