Author Reading – When You Can’t Believe Your Eyes: Vision Loss and Personal Recovery

When You Can’t Believe Your Eyes: Vision Loss and Personal Recovery is the first-ever “how-to” guide written directly for adults losing vision, their friends and families. The book teaches readers how to get expert professional help, face the trauma of loss, and navigate the world using speech more than sight. Author Hannah Fairbairn shares experiences both as a former Interpersonal Skills and Personal Management Instructor at the Carroll Center for the Blind as well her from her own personal journey with vision loss.

Join us on Wednesday, November 13 at 6:30 P.M. to meet Hannah Fairbairn at the Carroll Center for the Blind during a free public reading from select chapters of her book, When You Can’t Believe Your Eyes: Vision Loss and Personal Recovery. Q&A will be held afterwards so come prepared with any questions you may have.
