Giving Tuesday

About the Campaign

This Giving Tuesday, The Carroll Center for the Blind aims to raise $106,000 to complete our Solar Energy Conservation Project, which will replace the roof of the Lulie Gund Center for Vision Rehabilitation and install a solar energy system. Thanks to Gordon Gund, who has generously committed $200,000 as a challenge grant if we raise the additional $106,000 needed, every dollar you give this Giving Tuesday will be more than doubled, maximizing your impact!

The Lulie Gund Center for Vision Rehabilitation houses a manual and sensory arts workshop, low vision store and clinic, vocational training, personal management kitchen and classroom, adjustment counseling rooms, technology training lab, braille and communication classroom, fencing and yoga instruction area, dining hall, and much more.

We invite you to join Gordon in making a commitment to support this environmentally-friendly capital project. Your support will not only help fund this important initiative, but will provide tremendous cost savings for our organization that enables us to serve more clients in need of our
services. Your kindness and generosity can help us meet this grant challenge and fulfill this transformational opportunity. Thank you!
