The Carroll Center prides itself on being one of the country’s pioneering organizations in rehabilitation and education for people who are visually impaired or blind. We offer a wide range of programs, both community-based and campus-based. We work with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. In order to provide answers to many of the questions people frequently ask us about our programs and other visual impairment services, we hold monthly information days.
The Carroll Center’s monthly Information Day serves to provide consumers, families, professionals and students an opportunity to learn about the process of rehabilitation, specifically as it relates to our different programs. Most focus on our adult comprehensive rehabilitation and technology programs. Special Dates are offered for those seeking tours and information about our summer offerings for youth. The staff loves this chance to help participants become informed, relaxed and motivated! And the lunch is superb!
Please accept our thanks for such a lovely day and a great opportunity to learn from your staff and to see your lovely facility. I know we particularly enjoyed the opportunity to see how you are teaching your information management classes. Your hospitality and the terrific lunch are very much appreciated. Again, Please accept our sincere thanks and appreciation for the time you took. Maureen E. Carr M.S. Vision Rehabilitation Therapist, VA Connecticut Healthcare
