Polar Vision Team reaches the South Pole

The Polar Vision Team stands outside their plane shortly after their arrival in Antarctica.

The Carroll Center would like to congratulate Alan Lock, along with his Polar-Vision team-mates Andrew Jensen, Richard Smith, and Hannah McKeand on reaching the South Pole on Tuesday January 3 after 39 days of skiing across Antarctica. Alan is the first visually impaired person to make the adventurous trek. Cheers to the team for highlighting the unlocked potential in all of us. Awesome job!
